Default Master

Hello All I know some of you will say that I do not need a teacher but at this moment I feel that I do. If anyone is willing to take me on as an apprentice for any amount of time you wish I will be more than happy.

Anyone who is interested please send me a PM

Thanks

The Force be with you

Tai

if you check the map, there's quite a few members that are relatively close to your location you may want to try contacting some of them.

you could also check out a few other sites like temple of the jedi force, temple of the jedi knights, ashla knights(though i don't know if they're still around) and i'm certain some other members here may be able to provide more sites, and maybe even be able to put you in touch with someone nearby...

Ashla's still around, but they aren't a "Jedi Order" (don't let them fool you, their still Jedi, just don't want to admit it out of necessity for what Lucas might do to them >.>)

Anyways, Tai-Da...no offense, but I've been waiting for the day you would come forth and admit that you felt it was time for someone to take you on as a student. I'm not the person to do it, but I believe you would best be served by someone in your area.

I would say visit some of the sites that have some activity, read what people have written and talk to a few people and see if anything clicks for ya. The sites mentioned above will get you a good start. Is there something you want to focus on a bit more? Keep these things in mind as you won't find someone that is a jack of all trades but try to find someone that can help you specifically in the areas you want to improve and then can also guide you a bit on the other areas that might not be their strength.

What is it that you desire to learn from your new Master? The answer to this may help you find whom you seek.

Indeed Manna, as my signature shows, and is a parapharase from "The Way of the Paceful Warrior" (book not the movie version)

No-one but you can be sure what you are looking for. As RyuJin and Adam, have suggested, look around to the different sites, check the map, see what your options are.

Don't take the first person to say "oh sure, I'll be your master". Too many people, are not masters of themselves, how can they help someone else?

I wish you well on your journey......

Exactly, there are many that have mastered specific things but one person to teach all of it, not gonna happen..lol. Find people that have one of the things you want to learn and then move on. Don't go to just one person for it all because if they say they can show you all of it, you should run in the other direction as fast as you can..lol.

always do your research, the best master/apprentice relationships always come from mutual respect, mutual understanding, mutual learning, mutual teaching.

sometimes we spend our whole lives learning the things we need from an army of teachers.

there are sooo many things i'd like to learn but i think there isn't enough time in existence for me to do so, so i'll learn all that i can while i can....
