Slept from 2 am until 11:30 am. Actually had a day off from work. One of those use it or lose it days. Was going to be productive today and get some paperwork done, but actually took some time to respond to JRC posts instead. There were a couple good discussions going on that I wanted to get my thoughts out about. Spent some time practicing my katas, then headed to karate for a pretty good work out. Went to sleep at 2 am and woke up at 9 am for my late day at work. Had another weird disturbing dream, this time about my sister. In the dream, she kept telling me and my mother that she had Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever but I didn’t believe her because certain things didn’t add up and I kept telling my mom she was either lying or hiding something. Woke up at 6 am to go to work today, first day of a 6 day work week. It was still dark out, so the days are definitely getting shorter. The other therapist got there even earlier than I did, so she took the straight forward ortho and neuro floor and left me with the complicated medical sixth floor, which also happened to be my floor back when I was working on acute care so I didn’t mind too much.
