Moonshadow, this is just a reminder that this information also needs to get posted under the Gatherings tab at the top of the page.

Setanaoko, I'm not any kind of official representative here, but I know from past experience that we have tried to post these notices far and wide and have tried to get attendees from as many different groups as possible. Please copy this notice wherever you think there may be interested people.

Setanaoko, Yep, please feel free to share the link to this thread and/or copy paste the information on any sites you like. Also, if you could, please send me the links of any threads you post to so I can follow up with any questions that might be posted there and also so we don't duplicate posts on the same sites. If you want, you can also let me know what sites you'd like the Gathering advertised on and we have a standard announcement we can post there as well.

Jeremy, thanks for the reminder. Adam will have to take care of that one when he checks in.

I've been all over the announcement and the Cabins in Hocking website, but I can't find any directions for how to get there. We have a little time before we need the directions, but I wanted to make sure you realized that it was missing.

Made the announcement at TOTJO here: http://www.templeofthejediorder.org/forum/Jediism/48194-2012-Ohio-Summer-Gathering

Yep, Jeremy. They said they would send me the address directions once I paid the second deposit. I thought it was kind of odd that they were missing too. Would have been nice to at least have an exact address. Maybe it's for privacy reasons.

Thanks for posting Ren!

At the time of the gathering, I'll be 17. I live about 100 miles from the gathering, a 2 hour drive. There's no way I could attend if I had to accompanied by an adult, but I could probably make it on my own. Is there any issue with this?

Darren

I'll only be 17 at the time of the Gathering. Would I need to be accompanied by someone 18 or older?

Moonshadow

Darren,

You can come without someone 18 or older, but you would need to fill out a Parental Consent Form (http://jediresourcecenter.org/vb/misc.php?do=form&fid=3) and we would contact your parent or guardian directly to get both written and verbal permission for you to attend, unless you are legally emancipated. Just let me know if you have any other questions about the procedure. Hope you can make it!

It is regrettable that I won't be able to attend this.
I will be in Ohio this summer.
I will be near Logan Ohio (I'll be in Shelby county).
But not until August 20th.
So, mores the shame I guess.
Good luck with this gathering though!
