MI Chapter – Warrior Dash Round Up

Members of the Michigan Chapter are gearing up for the July 30th 2011 Michigan Warrior Dash!!! ( http://www.warriordash.com/register2011_michigan.php) There will be fire, there will be mud, water, courses, laughter, and most of all a whole lot of people having a good time!


We are inviting YOU to join us!


If we gather enough interested 'Warriors' we will make it a Mini Michigan Chapter gathering!! Details and schedules to be decided upon once we get an Idea of who is coming!


Warning: The Warrior Dash itself is NOT For the faint of heart. This is and will be a physically straining activity, and you will be expected to run, get wet and dirty.


However if you still wish to show up for the rest of the gathering, I'm sure our Warriors will be glad to have people cheering them from the side lines, passing them water and rags as they go - or - helping me here at home prepping a Warrior feast for when they return.


(I myself will not be participating in the Warrior Dash due to Kairi and our expectant Newborn + Healing up. So Aid here at the homestead will always be welcome.)

Well to be fair, i will be doing something almost along those lines during that time anyway.

The problem with waiting is that the event is filling up fast. People run in waves, each starting at a different time. Half the waves are already sold out and the event is still 6 months away.

Do what you have to do, of course, but don't wait too long if you can help it. ;)

I took a look at the site and it's definitely something I'd be interested in. The only problem is that I have a 4 day Tai Chi Chih Teacher Conference the weekend before and a Duatholon the weekend after. So it's a bit of a tight schedule. Still very much a possibility, though.
