Hello. I have had an idea. Instead of having a Council decide what to do with trouble makers in their council meetings only, that they could take it to the Jedi Court. I and many of my friends find how the Council acts in private annoying because one day your on the site and the next you are banned with No warning or chance to say goodbye or anything.
Yea man, i had that idea too. Its in my rant about why councils fail. I put it up in my blog, but you know, no one cares enough to change things. So if you can find enough folk to support it, i say good idea.

Are you talking about this site or Councils in general?
This site doesn't have a Council and unless someone did something extremely serious that threatened the well being of other members, no one would ever be banned without warning. Usually members are given pretty fair warning if the Administrators feel that they are doing something inappropriate on the forum, and most issues are easily resolved with a simple request.

probably not this site. We havnt had a council or anything resembling one for a while.

Mostly wondering because the forum he posted this in is specifically focused on public relations and implementing improvements to this site, and I'm not sure whether to move the thread to Site Feedback or the Lounge.

odd that this thread is here....over at templeofthejediorder they just excommunicated someone....and they usually let a whole lot slide without complaint...in fact i've seen them allow troublemakers to keep their account, so for them to take that measure it must of been a serious offense....i think a council works as long as they have an audience....in one of the temple designs i made...the council chamber is at the bottom and is sorrounded by 2 levels of viewing seats so other jedi could sit and watch the council...leaders should make decisions that affect others in a forum where those affected can speak their peace
If there is a trial or tribunal like said, it could have a phase of discussion in which people are allowed to speak their peace. That is not to say every joe schmoe gets to decide what happens to this person, just that they have a say. The final decesion could still be made by a council, or a jury of the knights.

So, I would like to know how many people support this idea. No I know there is no Council here. It is for actual Orders/Academies. I posted it here since it has to do with Jedi in public.
