Where are you going to be when the clock strikes midnight (in your respective time zone)? Special plans or just hanging out? Time Square or movie marathon at a friend's house?
I wish everyone all the best in the New Year!
Peace and long life.

New Years Eve is over and done for me. Happy New Year for those of you yet to reach it. I was at home doing not much.

Stan, we all expect to see pictures!
We planned to get off the boat and go into downtown Rio for a drink, maybe head over to Copacabana Beach for some fireworks, but they have us running 120 miles up the coast with some cargo. We're about 7 miles off the beach looking at all the fireworks as we go by! :(
Sucks immensely, but at least I have a job!

I think me and Kit are going to get a pizza and watch some movies. She can't drink and it wouldn't be much fun to drink without her. Then, we're planning new year's resolutions. I really like new years. Another chance to get it right!

I'm excited about the blue moon on New Year's Eve. It only happens once every 19 years. Definitely an especially significant time to do my Full Moon Ceremony which will not only set the tone for the next month, but the next year.

I'm in a hotel room in Massachusetts. We had to leave NY early due to the snowstorm in Maine on Sat/Sun. Was hoping to still be in NY but oh well..lol. Better then last year when we were driving home as it passed midnight.

i remember before i left guam me and my other shipmates had arranged to meet in times square for new years of 1999-2000.....unfortunately those plans fell through long ago....other then that one time i've never really had an interest in being sorrounded by that many people drinking alcohol

Watching the ball drop with my honey. Then we went off to Paul's house to hang out, watch Something Something Dark Side (Family Guy), and Rocky IV

My wife and I stayed home and spent New Years Eve hanging out with the kids. Quite honestly, 2009 was not a good year for us. I was more than happy to see it go. 2010 will be better.........I hope:)

We did indeed go to the Blue Moon celebration at the UU church we attend, but were home by 11:00. As a result, Derek and I brought in the new decade by playing Lego Star Wars!

I spent the new years eve asleep! Went to bed before the ball dropped and just as i suspected, 2010 came anyway. I did have my family down for a few days between christmas and new years and we got alot of partying done then.

Unitarian-Universalist. We attend the UU church in Lexington, Kentucky. It's the only place around here that is able to handle the beliefs of both me and my wife.

Cool!
Lexington is a good town. The person who schedules our crew changes is from Lexington and I grew up just east of Ashland, KY (Huntington, WV). I really miss that part of the country...

I saw this youtube clip on someone's Facebook page and thought it had some good advice, so I figured I'd post it.
