My grandaughter was born three months ago. I can't tell you how much joy Baby Panda (Abigale) has brought into our lives.

Congradulations I hope your labour is a swift one.

A girl? Wonderful!!!! - I hope you are having a smooth pregnancy Kitsu! Hope Daddy is holding up okay too?

What colors have you chosen for the nursery?

The name is sweet!

When you are comfortable, Kitsu, I'd love to come and see her... Have a mini-baby-shower (I know it should be before the baby - but I think Mommies know what they need for baby AFTER too! LOL!)

My best, best wishes for your and Mindas warmth and comfort at this wonderful time! Babies are true miracles of the Force - and the love and care of a parent is no higher heroism.

I'm so happy for you!

- Asta

For those that do not know, Kitsu gave birth to a 7 lb 15 oz, 21 in baby girl yesterday! From what I hear, all is well. As birthing and child care goes, both Kitsu and Mindas will very tired for the next couple weeks so they may not appear on here for a while. I recommend filling up this space with plenty of kind words, congratulations, and free advice, so when they do return, they can recharge their batteries with love from their friends on this forum.

Thank you so very much Ndplitch for doing the update for us!! That was very thoughtful, and very helpful! As you said were both recovering from it all so it has taken me awhile to get everything situated and promises fulfilled!

The birth went very well all things considering, we had a few rocky spots and ended up going to the hospital in the end, but as some things go we feel it was for the best. I was in labor for 26.5 hours and was so exhausted at the end, amazing how the sounds of your newborns first little gurgles and coos will perk you up enough to survive the final stretch before you can curl up and drift off into that hazy land called sleep. (Which only lasts for three hours before you fully step into the roll of Motherhood) The was the last stretch of 'sleep' I have had since!

Thank you again everyone for your love and support! I will try and get a more descriptive birth story up soon ^_^ For now PICTURES! (http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#%21/album.php?aid=67202&id=1368546524)
